SOUND DESIGN

Daniel Ruczko’s sound design blends raw experimentation with technical precision. Since the early 2000s, he’s been crafting unique sounds from scratch—recording textures in the field, designing with synths like Serum, Massive, and Phase Plant, and mangling samples through heavy FX chains.

He was the sound designer behind multiple UJAM Beatmaker plugins—designing the entire sound sets, programming the patterns, progtamming within their engine and building the factory presets. Daniel also created custom sounds for LANDR’s Chromatic, where he was one of the main testers. And has contributed to other commercial engines and tools across the music tech world.

Daniel was also the lead sound designer on the now-cancelled indie video game Kato, where he created the full soundscape and composed 14 original tracks for the game.

He regularly releases sample packs and preset libraries, with a focus on high-impact, expressive sounds—ranging from cinematic textures to distorted basslines. Known for pushing sonic boundaries, he even uses instruments like the waterphone to create haunting, one-of-a-kind horror effects for his own trailers and films.

Every sound is built to move you, rattle you, or stick with you.
