Daniel Ruczko, born on July 3rd 1982, is a self-taught award-winning Director, Writer and Composer from Bremen, Germany. Hailing from the same area, his unwavering passion for music began at the age of 12 and he then started recording mini DV films with his childhood friend Florian when he was 15. After spending most of his twenties as a producer and DJ touring the globe and releasing records on numerous labels, 2010 Daniel won an award for the concept of his short film "Bipolar - A Narration of Manic Depression" which was chosen by the german actor Matthias Schweighöfer. "Bipolar" got Daniel a lot of attention and also his first awards. Daniel hasn't looked back ever since.

Throughout his creative career, Daniel has received over 60 awards for his short films, including "Best Director," "Best Original Music," and "Best Short Film." and had films screened at the Short Film Corner of the Festival de Cannes three years in a row.

Daniel now lives in Los Angeles where he is active as a Film Director, Producer, Author and Music Producer.
